Virtuous circle and vicious circle - In many parts of economics there is an assumption that a complex system of determinants will tend to lead to a state of equilibrium. When this tendency is absent we use terms like virtuous circle and vicious circle (or virtuous cycle and vicious cycle) to describe these unstable pattern of events.

Circle Circle, Dot Dot - The song circle circle, dot dot is a playground song that supposedly serves to immunize a child from the affliction of cooties. The words are as follows:

Polar circle - A polar circle refers to either the Arctic Circle or the Antarctic Circle. On earth, the Arctic Circle is located at a latitude of 66˚ 32' N, and the Antarctic circle is located at a latitude of 66˚ 32' S.

Circle of Willis - The Circle of Willis, also cerebral arterial circle, Arterial Circle of Willis and circulus arteriosus cerebri (Latin), is a circle of arteries that supply the brain. It is named after Thomas Willis (1621-1673), an English physician.
